What screen printing means to me in my artistic work

Printing is always an important part of my visual language and artistic development. In my screenprints I am focused on testing structures, layering shapes on top of each other and using this technique to practise my analog skills. I usually draw my screen printing templates analogously on film, which provides additional opportunities to react spontaneously to the workflow. The number of colors and layers is procedural, that's why screen printing sometimes feels like painting for me. I work in my screenprinting studio | collective  StattLab based in Berlin | Mitte.
